About us
The truth before takeoff.
Aviation Unfiltered started on 28 June 2026 as a content page. We walked into flight schools across Kenya with a phone and a microphone and asked students and professionals the questions nobody answers in the brochure.
Why we exist
Aviation school costs a lot, and many students choose with very little real information. Some pick the wrong school. Some international students arrive with no one to call. We started AU so that no aviation student in Kenya has to make those choices alone.
Today we're a community of students, working aviators and parents, and a small team that helps students join and settle into the right school.
The team
- Tony Mochama, co-founder. Content, partnerships and systems.
- Riri, co-founder. Community and operations.
- Farah, Head of Student Settlement.
- Our expert panel: a pilot, an engineer, an operations expert and an international student guide.
